It's Time to Streamline

​     I had the privilege of attending the Nearpod Pionear Summit this weekend, and I also has the pleasure to have a conversation with Monica Burns which I think will improve my practice significantly. She has been doing the presentation / consulting thing for a while, and I am hoping some of her tips will enhance my reach as well improve KSU Iteach's reach.
     With that in mind, I have decided to streamline edtechspeeddating.com. Over the years, I have had several ideas that I have tried and dropped just because I have not had the time to continue them. To streamline the site, I have decided to cut many of those avenues. I think it's better to focus on my presentations, blog, video, and tools. To me, those are the avenues and resources that many folks use on my site. My hope is that by dropping those other channels, I can focus on improving my social media presence as well as adding more to the resources that folks care about.
     This streamlining included the difficult decision to drop the App of the Month and Gadget of the Month blogs. To streamline my writing, those types of blogs will now be rolled into deep thoughts. My hope is that by doing that, I can go to a longer form set of post on things I find that I love.
     I hope those who love my site like the changes. My hope is that it will make posts and new content more consistent.
