Great Sites to Visit
Sites I Have Built and Places I Have Worked
Tynker
Every student can learn coding and every teacher can teach it. Tynker is the platform that makes that happen. You can use the great courses to teach kids coding structure and content, or you can use Tynker's great creativity tools to let them have choice in what they create. The possibilities are endless. |
Lockhart US History
This is my old class website that I still use for demos. It sets up a historical newsroom as a basis for my classroom and has some interesting ideas on things such as parent communication, student choice, and student creation. You may find it to be a little much for what you teach, but you can always pull ideas from it. Last Updated October 2014 |
KSU Iteach
This is the group I am an alumni of, and who I built a maker bus with. If you are looking for a group that can provide personalized coaching, this is the group to turn to. They will take really good care of your school/district. |
See Edu Differently
This is the Bow Tie Google Innovator Project from October 2016. The idea behind it is to crowd source innovative practice from every school level to show others what that looks like and to change perceptions. The issue with it was that it takes responses which are hard to get without the right PR |
Grad School Portfolio
In 2017, I finished my Specialist at Kennesaw State University. Part of that program is to do a digital portfolio, and here it is. |
Going Deep with Google Classroom
This site was built for PD around 2016-2017. It has not been updated in several years, but it still has some great Google Classroom tips and tricks on it. |
The High School Blend
A site whose sole purpose is to get High School Teachers on board with blended learning and student creation. It needs an update as far as tools go, but some of the principles included still stand true. |
