IDEAcon Conference Preview

Another one of my favorite conferences is coming up! It’s IDEA in Illinois which was formerly ICE. This is a conference that is almost a second home to me as one of my first friends in Ed Tech calls this home and several of my other friends have come to this one over the years. It’s a hybrid one this year, so I have both an in-person session and a virtual one. They include:

• Apple Lovers Delight (2/15 2:00PM Shaumburg D): IOS can be a great platform for the Classroom, but cutting down the app store is a challenge. Let me do it for you in this session! We give you a whole lot of apps to fill that device the way you want!
• Make Something Delicious with MicroComputers (2/17 8:00AM Virtual): Microcomputers can give you a high ceiling device that allows you to build almost anything, and Raspberry Pi and micro:bit are two of the best. They can be confusing though and hard to get started on. This session is all about demystifying them. And it’s virtual so anyone can come!
